To further strengthen our collaboration with Fusion Bionic on current and new projects, we recently opened an office at the Fusion Bionic site in Dresden. We are delighted about this step and the in-depth and continuous exchange on innovative approaches in laser processing. This year, we were once again sponsors of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, which is awarded to particularly high-performing and committed students and first-year students. We congratulate scholarship holder Sebastian Tack, who is studying for a degree in mechanical engineering, on receiving the grant. You can find more information about the scholarship here.
From August 28 to September 1, 2023, the TU Dresden and the Fraunhofer IWS will host the 12th International Summer School on Laser Technology. In this five-day workshop, undergraduate and graduate students will be trained in fundamental and applied aspects of laser technology. The program includes lectures by experts, discussion sessions, practical insights and the opportunity for participants to present their own research topics and exchange ideas. We are very pleased to support this event as a sponsor. Dr. Florian Rößler, our research and development associate, gave a presentation on our polygon scanner at the site on August 30, 2023.
